Hi, I’m Andrew—a commercial pilot and flight instructor. I’m here to fly airplanes, help develop great pilots, and do what I can to contribute to the aviation industry.

I have always loved aviation and learning. I grew up in Kansas building things, working on farms, and dreaming of flying. I started flying as a college freshman at Kansas State University in 2001. The aviation industry contracted in and after September 2001, and I left to pursue other ventures. Through my career as a lawyer, I discovered that I love writing and teaching—and that I couldn’t shake aviation’s call. After a few years of considering a return to aviation, I left the legal industry altogether at age 41 to fly, teach as a CFI, and contribute what I can to the aviation industry.
