Enest K. Gann, Fate Is The Hunter: A Pilot’s Memoir (1986). Originally published in 1961, this aviation classic recounts some of Gann’s captivating aviation adventures—and offers a window into aviation’s earlier, challenging days.
Kerry McCauley, Ferry Pilot: Nine Lives Over the North Atlantic (2020). An excellent memoir detailing the often treacherous work of flying small piston airplanes across the vast, cold Atlantic.
